A typical investigation

  1. Describe the problem. An authorized user asks about a specific enrolled computer—for example, why it has become slow or why an application keeps failing.
  2. Review what Northwatch already knows. The AI-assisted workflow uses authorized machine history, existing diagnostic evidence, and findings that are relevant to the question.
  3. Collect missing evidence. If more information is needed, Northwatch can identify an approved diagnostic check. The server verifies the user, customer, machine, and requested operation before anything runs.
  4. Correlate the results. New evidence is compared with the symptoms, earlier results, and related findings instead of being returned as an isolated technical dump.
  5. Explain the likely cause. Northwatch presents the reasoning, supporting evidence, uncertainty, and practical next steps for the human operator to review.
